If you want to put a character up for audition, please do so by posting the stats of your accepted character in a new thread on this board. If your character is not yet accepted, put the link to the thread in your post along with any other information and the requirements for trying out. Until the character is accepted, however, it is your responsibility.

If there is a plot character or just a normal character that has caught your interest, just simply follow the requirements for that character. It really depends on the person who has the character up for audition. Some people have try-outs while others don't, so just pay attention.

Aeldor, heir to the Intagli throne, has returned to Pallido. His past is unknown to him, but the future of the Intagli rest within his grasp. Only he can take hold of fate and bring back the Intagli life. He discovers clues to his past and fits together pieces of hints that lead to the explanation of the Intagli's disappearance. Things have been hidden from him all his life, along with the entire chain of Cenere's bloodlines, the only of the Intagli to survive.
The whole while Aeldor tries to bring back the Intagli and figure out the past, the remainder of the alliances settle their differences, choosing the leaders of each to band together and lead each other as a whole. Their goal is to strike down the empire of Intagli before it begins, killing their chances of being destroyed themselves by what was to happen all those years ago. Their hopes are strong for their success, knowing that Aeldor is weak having to defend everything he has to risk by himself against the terrible army awaiting him. Will he succeed and bring Intagli back, or will the three remaining alliances fight against him and win their century-long battle?

This is an explanation of the different alliances. Please read through this before choosing which alliance to place your character in.
- neghi -
Neghi is known for their cunning cruelty. They are rather dark at heart, but their intentions are not as chaotic as that of the Intagli. It is as if they follow in their footsteps, only sided against them and at least a little agreeable.
- regola -
Regola is completely opposite compared to the Neghi alliance. Their mind is pure and their path is chosen based on efficiency. As a whole, they plan ahead and try making every choice the right one.
- alleanza -
Alleanza is the alliance that usually doesn't stick out much. They are usually hidden and don't wander off. They tend to be a mix of good and evil, kind when called upon and cruel when defending their customs. Alleanza is a very tricky alliance. You can never know what move they'll take next.
- intagli -
It you have read the plot and all the history of Pallido, you may understand more about Intagli. Intagli is an ancient alliance that survives now only in Aeldor, but that will all change when he returns. Intagli is the alliance of stealth and strength. In the old days each member was well built and had many characteristics others lacked. They were the most powerful until they fell.

Long ago four alliances lived in harmony, staying clear of the others as best they could. Years passed, and the farther along the groups were, the stronger they were, up until a catastrophic day when one alliance tried rising above all despite their agreement. The Intagli took their strongest army and pledged war against their rivals, but the war never came. Years came and went by, but no sign of combat nor a flag of defeat ever erupted. There was nothing.
Finally, one day an equine brave enough wandered over the borders to seek the lord of the Intagli who so greedily tried to take everything, but what he found was shocking and burned the hearts of many. He found nothing. Not a bone on the ground nor a mangled body lifeless over the terrain. As he returned home, many feared they had began their plotting and had deserted the land on purpose, but there was no sign of them anywhere in the land of Pallido. They had fled, but what caused them such deep fear? The most powerful ones in the valley, and they were so terrified that there wasn't a trace of their existence.
Horse upon horse searched the endless terrain in search of something to lead them to the clues, and as they searched, they found one surviver. Only one. The foal, too young to know what had happened to the Intagli, was found among the foliage scattered about the terra. That young foal was Cenere, heiress of the Intagli. She was raised by the others like anyone else, brought in from the hands of the Alba. Soon her bloodlines streamed through generations, and for years, the last of the Intagli was hanging by a thread.

Q. - How do I get my own herd? A. » There are four main herds in which equines join. If you wish to create your own herd, you must first become a member of the main herd. Once you find three loyal mares who are willing to join you in a new herd, pm a staff member and they will set up a board for your herd. Or there is a simpler way. If there is already an unclaimed land, you may claim it.
Q. - The plot is confusing. Will someone explain it to me in more detail? A. » pm a staff member and they will help you.
Q. - Can I become an Intagli? A. » You may join the Intagli, but please remember that you are not exactly like Aeldor. He is the only real Intagli left.
Q. - Why are all the lands in four categories? A. » The four categories represent different sections of Pallido.
Q. - Does each alliance only go in the category it's in? A. » No. Anyone can roam anywhere but the herdlands, which is the first board of each category.
Q. - Can I be staff? A. » No. Don't ask me to be staff. I have enough wonderful staff already and I will ask when the time comes I need more help.
Q. - How do I join? A. » First you make an account. After that, you read all the rules and everything in the history board. After you understand everything, then it is time to create your character, which is simply filling out the form in 'enter' and waiting to be accepted.
Q. - What do I do after I am accepted? A. » After reading and understanding all the basics of Faded, you may choose to roam any of the 'ic' boards. But please keep in mind the descriptions of each land.
Q. - Is there a stallion's claiming ground? A. » No. I thought it would be more realistic for stallions. Don't ask me why; I'm just weird like that.
Q. - I usually play on light vs. dark rpgs. Can you tell me which alliances are like what? A. » It is hard to base these alliances off those of dark vs. light rpgs, but to keep it basic the Intagli are like darks, the Alleanza are like neutrals, the Regola are like lights, and the Neghi are between the darks and neutrals. But remember that this is only an estimate. I did not base my alliances off darks and lights.
Q. - Can I have a real Intagli? A. » There are only two ways to be an Intagli. First is to be blood related to Aeldor, which is meant by being one of his children. The second, which will only take place later and very infrequently, will be when Aeldor names you an Intagli and the nation begans to grow again. This will mean your blood is now Intagli because you have proven yourself.

These rules were created by the admin of Faded. They are not to be used by any other person on any other rpg. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask a staff member. But first check the f.a.q.
- general -
Swearing is allowed, but don't take advantage of this. Be respectful to staff and members when out of character. If there is a problem report it; don't endlessly argue. Use correct grammar! The joining password is 'evergreen'. Please be sure and read all needed information before role playing. Everything will be in 'the history' and 'carved in stone'. There is no limit to the amount of characters you may have, but you must be active with them all. If any account is inactive for a month, it will be deleted without notice. If you break any rule on Faded, you will get a warning signified by a symbol that will be placed under your name. No plagiarism of any kind (taking names, posts, signatures, or anything else). I won't tolerate porn or spam on any board! I have worked hard on this site, and I don't want to see it all ruined by someone's stupid mistakes.
- role playing -
Posts must be a minimum of 100 words. Wait to be accepted before beginning your role play. This is very important and I will not tolerate posting without acceptance. Only 1 character per account. You may have as many accounts as you wish, but they all must be active. This is a horse rpg. It's not a wolf, zebra, or even a monkey rpg. Only horses. Accepted bios will be moved to the 'accepted' board. You may edit your bio at any time, but please don't change it drastically. If you change it, PM me to inform me of the changes. No power-playing or god-moding during role play. This is not tolerated and will not happen. Also note that a season is equal to one month. This means a year is equal to 4 months. It would be wise to respect the kings and queens.
- fighting -
You may fight for anything whether it is a female, a rank, or even if you want to prove yourself on something. There is only one way to get a female from another herd. You must fight for her; the winner takes her. Before fighting, you must fill out a form in 'battles'. The actual fighting can take place anywhere you please. Since this is an intermediate-advanced rpg, I expect you all to know your limits. There is no limit to the amount of hits, dodges, ext. However, each person gets four posts of fighting, one of which will be the introduction. If you challenge for a land, the person challenged has five days to reply before they surrender. The only way around this is if they are known to be absent or if this person is king of the lights/neutrals/darks. In a situation of a king, I will step in. If a stallion challenges for a herd and wins, that stallion is rewarded with both the herd and the equines that were in the herd before the challenge was made.

Only stallions can claim lands. mares cannot rule a land by themselves! Only the lead stallion and lead mare can claim mares or stallions for the herd. Ranks are the responsibility of the owner. Ask a staff member to sticky your thread for you if needed. Ranks will be deleted, along with previous posts, once the herd is passed to another owner played by a different player. Ranks may be challenged for if stated, but do understand that a lead stallion can break up any fight or replace any character the way they see fit. Any board unowned can be claimed by any stallion, but for those who have proved themselves in the king's herd, they will be rewarded with their own land. There is a limit of 4 herds outside the king's own, which totals to 5 in each alliance. Read f.a.q. for more information on this topic.
- breeding -
Breeding may only take place during spring and fall. Breeding must take place in 'Suono'. I decide the foal's stats excluding the name. It will be posted in your breeding thread in 'love and creation'. No graphic breeding! The birth takes place one to two weeks after breeding. No pleasure breeding! Horses must be at least 4 years of age before they may breed. Forcebreeding is allowed anywhere. The only way I will not accept forcebreeding is if a stallion shows up and breeds in the same post. I will accept if a stallion mounts in their entering post, but the mare cannot become pregnant until the second post. A female must be able to escape without carrying a child unless the stallion is too strong. You get the drift. You must first post in 'love and creation' before you begin to breed. Read inside for further details.
By joining you are telling me you have read the rules, understand them, and agree to them. If you join, you are subject to punishment for breaking any rule.
